BassVoice Double is a compact two-channel upright bass preamp built to give you a full, natural main tone and a clear, controllable slap sound directly from the instrument.
It lets you balance Main and Slap independently, shape the character of the slap attack, and correct the main pickup before the signal ever reaches your amp or PA.
The result is a more complete, more controlled amplified bass sound — with less need for extra boxes, complicated routing or constant correction later in the signal chain.

BassVoice Double is a complete pickup and preamp system for amplified upright bass.
It combines a full, natural main bass sound with a separate slap channel, giving you control over both directly on the instrument. The complete set includes a main piezo pickup and a dedicated slap pickup, so you can build the whole system around one compact preamp instead of combining pickups, blenders and additional tone-shaping devices.
The goal is simple: make the bass sound right before the signal reaches your pedalboard, amplifier or PA.
The main channel is designed to preserve the body, depth and character of the instrument while giving you enough control to adapt it to different basses, pickups, rooms and amplification systems.
Bass, sweepable Mid and High controls let you shape the sound where it actually matters. The adjustable mid frequency makes it possible to reduce a nasal or boxy area, tame an unwanted resonance, or bring out more definition and presence without turning the preamp into a complicated graphic equalizer.
A phase control provides another quick way to adapt the system to the instrument and stage environment.
The included main piezo pickup can be used on the bridge or mounted directly on the body/top, allowing you to choose the position that gives the most natural response on your particular bass.
Slap is treated as a different sound source rather than simply mixed into the main pickup.
The included slap pickup mounts under the fingerboard and feeds its own channel with independent level control.
The Attack control shapes the character of the slap signal — from softer and rounder to a more pronounced, percussive click — so the slap can sit clearly alongside the main bass tone without dominating it.
This also means you can adjust the balance between Main and Slap directly on the bass, where it is easy to reach during a performance.
BassVoice Double is designed to mount directly on the upright bass and stay there while you play.
No permanently installed electronics are required. The system can be fitted to different instruments, and the supplied mounting accessories allow you to find the position that works best with your tailpiece and playing style.
An internal rechargeable battery keeps the system self-contained, with USB charging and no external battery box or disposable 9 V battery to manage.
The standard output combines Main and Slap into a single mono signal, ready to go straight to an amplifier, pedalboard or PA.
A separate dual-channel output configuration is also available for players who prefer to process Main and Slap independently.
