SVISOUND PHANTOM is a handcrafted hybrid violin that combines the natural resonance and physical response of a traditional acoustic body with custom active electronics, analog effects and integrated light.

It remains a real resonant violin, but is designed for modern amplification, stage performance, recording and experimental music.

The acoustic body preserves the familiar response, vibration and feel of a traditional violin. The internal electronics extend its possibilities without turning it into a silent solid-body instrument.

Each PHANTOM is individually made and finished by hand, so variations in wood, texture and appearance are part of the instrument’s character.

Custom SviSound pickup system

PHANTOM uses a custom Marblewood bridge with an integrated piezo pickup system developed specifically for the instrument.

The dense exotic wood and dedicated pickup construction are designed to retain a lively, expressive response while providing a stable signal for amplification and recording.

Integrated analog preamp

A dedicated SviSound active preamp is built directly into the violin. It provides a strong, controlled output suitable for amplifiers, effects, mixers and audio interfaces without requiring a separate external preamp.

Built-in analog fuzz

PHANTOM can be equipped with an integrated analog fuzz designed specifically for violin.

The effect adds expressive saturation and distortion directly from the instrument, allowing the player to move between a clean amplified sound and a more aggressive electronic voice without an additional pedal.

Light from within

The internal light system transforms the violin visually while preserving its dark, restrained appearance when switched off.

In the ember mode, light moves through openings in the body and scroll, creating the impression of glowing coals and fire burning inside the instrument. The illumination becomes part of the performance rather than a separate decorative effect.

Precision tuning

Wittner Finetune geared pegs provide smooth, accurate and stable tuning. Their internal mechanism offers precise adjustment while retaining the clean appearance and familiar handling of traditional violin pegs.
